First mentioned in 1334, it was renovated in 1502 and entrusted to the Confraternita del Gonfalone in 1569. The building, featuring a single nave with a raised presbytery, houses an exceptional cycle of frescoes painted in 1578 by the Torresani workshop, which was active between the Sabina region and the Tiber Valley.<\/p>\n
The Stories of Saint John the Baptist and Saint Peter stand out on the apse, while the scenes of the Last Supper and the Washing of the Feet dominate above, vibrant with Renaissance color and spirituality. In the side niches, there is a Crucifixion with Umbrian tones and the Madonna del Riscatto\u2014a symbol of local devotion\u2014where the Virgin welcomes confreres and sacred figures under her mantle.
